Buying & trading is available during store hours as long as the buyer is in the store. You are advised always to call first to check for buyer availability.

We will consider most books, but are especially interested in:

• Non-Fiction — Eastern & World Religions, Esoteric and Occult, Spirituality, Gardening / Sustainability, Cookbooks, Travel, Health, Hawaiiana
• Pocket Paperback (Mass Market) — Fiction and Non-Fiction — Any date if in great condition
• DVDs — Any if in great condition

CREDIT: Store trade credit can be given for books and DVDs. We accept only those items that we think we can sell and of which we have few or no duplicates. The amount offered in trade credit is based on our estimate of the price we will charge for the item, how long it will take to sell, availability, and condition. Trade credit remains valid until used; it will never expire. Book trade credit may be applied to any used book in the store. Book trade credit may not be used for new items or DVDs. DVD trade credit may be used for books and DVDs. At this time we are no longer accepting hardback fiction books.

CASH: Cash is offered for a very limited range of items. We are more likely to pay cash for items in categories in which we specialize or have ongoing shortages. Cash may be offered for a broader range of items when we buy large collections, libraries, or from estates. In addition, you should note that we offer about 1/2 as much in cash as we would have in trade for the same item. We are, however, happy to consider your items for cash.
